Scott Perrin has produced musical revues hailed by The New York Times as “The best revues in New York in years” including Rodgers & Hammerstein's “A Grand Night for Singing,” which moved from Rainbow & Stars to Broadway and received two Tony® Award nominations including Best Musical. Off-Broadway, Scott has produced “The Flying Karamazov Brothers,” “Our Sinatra,” “Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know,” and the critically-acclaimed, ten year series of entertainment at Rainbow & Stars / The Rainbow Room, saluting Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, George & Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Jule Styne, Rodgers & Hammerstein ("A Grand Night For Singing"), Lerner & Loewe, Leonard Bernstein, 20th Century R&B, and 20th Century Pop. Versions of those productions have appeared on tour including with Peter Nero and The Philly Pops and at The Kennedy Center.
Scott is also Founder and Managing Member of The Event Office which has created hundreds of special events from Bill Clinton’s Presidential inauguration to celebrations surrounding The Grammy Awards to postage stamp introductions by the United States Post Office. The Event Office has managed fundraising campaigns for some of New York’s top charitable organizations raising hundreds of millions of dollars through gala dinners, golf outings, charity auctions and cultivation cocktail parties. During the pandemic, Scott served as Executive Director of First Responders Children's Foundation which raised $97 million for first responders through three nationally-televised concerts and a NYPD vs. FDNY football game at MetLife Stadium on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Scott has served as Director of Special Events at Lenox Hill Hospital, as a member of the Board of Governors of Brown University, as President of The Brown University Club in New York, as Chair of the Trinity School Younger Alumni Committee, as Chair of the Greenwich Village Historical Preservation Society Junior Committee, and as Chair of the En Garde Arts Junior Committee.
Scott grew up in the entertainment industry as the son of orchestra leader Forrest Perrin and comedy writer Lesley Davison. As a child actor, Scott appeared in Broadway productions of "The Music Man" and "The Sound of Music" and Off-Broadway in "Life with Father" and "Do You Know Where Your Children Are?" Scott also appeared in a notable, original amateur musical, "Petticoats and Union Suits," in which he shared a role with John Kennedy, Jr. - in Act 1, Scott played the younger version, and in Act 2, Mr. Kennedy played the older version of the same character. Scott began producing weekly musical revues as a student at Brown University, and today he continues a 75 year family tradition of hosting musical evenings in his Midtown, Manhattan apartment with twin, grand pianos - more details about that can be found at www.PluralPianos.com .
