Lesley Davison Perrin (1931 - 2014) wrote comedy songs for the television shows "Laugh-In," "The Dean Martin Show," "The Today Show," and "The Tonight Show." She also wrote comedy songs for twelve Julius Monk revues, "Coconuts!" at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami, "Varieties!" at Rainbow & Stars in New York City, and "Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know" Off-Broadway. She wrote material for the cabaret acts of Ruth Buzzi, Jo Anne Worley, Nancy Dussault, Claiborne Cary, Anne Francine, Mabel Mercer, and thirteen comedy record albums. Her CD, "Political Party - 40 Years in Revue," is a compilation of comedy songs about presidential politics during the Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush and Clinton administrations featuring performances by Walter Bobbie, Ruth Buzzi, Mary Louise Wilson, the cast of the Crystal Palace in Aspen, Colorado, and the casts of the Julius Monk revues.
